Protect the weld area from atmospheric gases with our selection of shielding gases. We offer pure gases and other gases often used in shielding gas mixtures, including:

  • Argon

  • Helium

  • Carbon dioxide

  • Oxygen

Access pure argon for good arc stability and penetration. Argon mixed with helium can create a hotter arc and faster travel speeds, enabling you to work on thicker materials. When combined with argon, carbon dioxide is often used in metal inert gas (MIG) welding applications. Small additions of oxygen to argon mixtures can improve arc stability and puddle fluidity, making this mixture ideal for spray transfer welding. 

In addition to shielding gases, we also offer fuel gases that burn with oxygen to produce high-temperature flames. Complete welding, cutting, brazing and soldering tasks with these gases. Acetylene is the most common option and burns the hottest. You can also get propane from us, which has a lower flame temperature but is more economical for certain applications.
