NEW YORK, NY – MAY 8, 2026 – Meritus Gas Partners (“Meritus”) announced that two new senior leaders joined their management team this week.
Scott Blankman joins the Meritus senior leadership team as Vice President – Sales. In this position, he will work with all Meritus operating companies to implement consistent sales processes and introduce supportive sales tools and technologies across the entire enterprise. He will coordinate sales and product training, lead Meritus-wide sales meetings and be Meritus’ face to national accounts. Prior to joining Meritus, Scott was the Director of Cutting Automation North America at ESAB. Prior to ESAB, Scott worked at Matheson Tri-Gas for eight years, serving most recently as the Region General Manager – Texas, and Praxair Distribution for 10 years in various sales capacities. He received his B.S. degree in Business from Bellevue University and holds a degree in Welding Engineering Technology.
Mark Herrington will serve as Meritus’ Director Operations & Safety – Eastern Region. Mark will work with the Ozarc, Volunteer and Atlas businesses, focusing on safety and compliance and production and distribution optimization. Mark joins Meritus with 25 years of operations and distribution experience at Linde Gas & Equipment and Air Products & Chemicals. At Linde, Mark held the position of National Director, Distribution & Logistics and served as Vice President – Operations for Linde’s mid-Atlantic joint venture packaged gas business, GTS-Welco. He was Air Products’ National Manager, Helium Operations for 14 years. Mark also has a 10-year background in mergers, acquisitions, and integration, having served most recently as Linde’s Senior Director M&A. Mark served in the U.S. Navy as a Submariner. Mark holds an MBA from Lehigh University and a B.S. degree in Applied Science from Thomas Edison State University.
