Matt McClelland and Robby DePasquale promoted into General Sales Manager roles by Meritus Gas Partners in Southern California

STANTON, CA – August 27, 2026 – Meritus Gas Partners announced the promotion of two internal candidates into General Sales Manager roles in Southern California today. Reporting to General Manager Ryan Brubaker, Matt McClelland and Robby DePasquale will lead the sales team during the consolidation of Craig Welding Supply and High Precision Gas into Meritus’ Southern California platform business, Cameron Welding Supply.

Matt McClelland has spent 30 years in various management roles before coming to our industry. He started his career in industrial gas with one of the majors and helped grow the Long Beach territory over 30% while helping to build morale and service levels at the Long Beach branch. Since joining Meritus, Matt has helped scratch start a territory for Craig Welding and has been a driving force in growth while also helping lead the team into the integration with Cameron.

Robby DePasquale has learned the industrial gases and welding supplies business from the ground up. He has excelled in every role he has taken on. From counter sales to branch manager to outside sales, Robby has proven his leadership throughout his time in the industry.
